Bear Day!

What better way to celebrate the Letter Bb than have Bear Day and make Butter! We made bread dough bears for snack and then spent time shaking cream in jars to make butter to go with our snack. We also played a game where we read clues about each student's animal and they had to guess which animal matched the clues. It was a beary good day!

Polar Express!

While we love the craziness of December and all that we do throughout the month, our most favorite day is Polar Express. Our conductor Mary (a former parent) works her magic to turn the day into the most incredible experience for our students. We appreciate all the help from our volunteers that make this day magical for our students. The students get to enter the train after we hear the conductor blow her whistle. She punches their ticket and they get on the train. She reads The Polar Express to them and then they watch the movie while they drink hot chocolate and get treats from the treat cart. Santa also comes! It's an amazing day! The photos are in no special order.
