Kinderbuddies!

This morning we met with our Kinderbuddies to work on some projects for Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. The kids had to write what their dream for the future was and then had to cut out their hand and decorate it. These are all hanging in the front hallway by the office. Make sure to check it out when you come for conferences!

 The final projects...

Snowman Week!

We spent the week reading numerous books about snowmen, read a phonics snow book, started a snowman painting (until we realized we were out of white paint...guess who gets to go shopping this weekend:) and today we made snowmen for snack! The kids got marshmallows, pretzels, M&M's and chocolate chips to see what they could create. Check it out!

Skating

Students on Wheels have been moving and shaking in PE these past two weeks. These past two days, the kids have been able to skate to music and with disco balls flashing around the gym.
It was a ton of fun! Even Mrs. Heuer gets to try it out (and I didn't even fall:)

A bad photo of the disco lights!
Dancing at the end without roller skates!

D is for Donuts!

Last week we celebrated the letter Dd! On Friday, we decorated donuts for snack! Delicious!!!
