Arbor Day!

Today the FFA group from the high school came to talk about Arbor Day! We learned a little bit about the importance of trees, the parts of a tree and how to plant a tree. Each child is coming home with a tree so make sure you check your child's backpack:)

V is for Vegetables

I know...last week was Vv week but I forgot to bring vegetables to taste test for snack, so we did it yesterday. All kids had to try each of the vegetables that we tried (red pepper, cauliflower, carrots and pea pods) but they didn't need to finish it if they didn't like it. I also gave them ranch dressing to go with the veggies...yum! Ask your child what s/he liked or didn't like!

Kindergarten Program

We hope that you have May 24th marked on your calendar for our Kindergarten Program. We have started practicing and it's going to be AMAZING! While the kiddos have been practicing in music every day, we've also been getting the 3 Kindergarten classes together each week to practice. Check it out below!

Kinderbuddies

We met our kinderbuddies today to write spring addition stories. We'll be making the addition problems into a class book. It was a lot of fun!
