Happy Halloween!

Here are photos from our day today...Officer Jim visit, Dressing for Halloween, Fall Festival and Halloween Parade (which was shortened due to being inside).
Officer Jim came to talk to us about how to be safe tonight. He also gave us cool reflective bags!

 A group photo!

 Crazy Faces!
At the start of our fall festival. Kids were put into multi-grade groups and then got to go to 3 different stations throughout the school.

Spider Soup!

Here are our photos of spider soup! We started the day with adding some cans of spider soup to the crock pots. Now, it's hard to find spider soup around here and we had to pick it up at a small grocery store in St. Paul. We then added some extra spider parts and some dried spider webs. We let it heat up for 4 hours and it was ready! When we got ready to serve it, we found a whole spider in it - YIKES! We had a lot of kids try it but it may not have been the most popular! Check out our photos below...

The soup...see the spider floating in it?

Pumpkins, Pumpkins Everywhere!

Check out the decorated pumpkins that were brought to school this week to decorate our halls with! My daycare provider and her husband also donated 1 pumpkin to every kindergarten students so we painted pumpkins at school today (look at the bottom photos for students painting). They'll be coming home with your child on Monday! What a fun day!
