Today we were blessed with perfect weather (well, maybe a little warm, according to the students) for our annual Field Day! While we didn't make it to all the activities, we made it to quite a few. We even got to play in the bouncy houses! We ended with cool, refreshing Popsicles!
Water Balloon Toss
Sack Races
Tug of War
Three-Legged Race
Egg and Spoon Relay
Popsicles at the end!
Remember when we had Farmer Day back in January to celebrate the Letter F? We were hoping to have a calf come to visit but were encouraged to wait until spring so that the visit could happen outdoors. Well, today was the day! We had a 2 day old calf come to visit us. We learned about how to take care of calves and also got to pet her. It was pretty awesome!
The calf was pretty tired at the end after all the attention she got!
Today we were fortunate to have our 2nd art lesson of the year with Mrs. Houston. The students got to use their painting skills to paint sunflowers. They look amazing! Look for them to come home by the end of the school year!
