Pumpkin Investigation

We got a big pumpkin donated to our class and we decided to become scientists to investigate it! We measured it, figured out if it sank or float (that was a challenge with a big pumpkin:) and of course - got our hands dirty in the pumpkin guts to look at the seeds. We even carved it at the end. It looks pretty amazing!

Pumpkin Painting

I had some relatives who donated pumpkins to our kindergarten students. Thank you! 

We had fun painting them to take home for Halloween!

Cowboy/girl Day!

We had a crazy Cowboy/girl Day in honor of the letter Cc! We made horses (and rode them down to the office), read cowboy books, found C words, created a cowboy/girl craft and ate trail mix for our snack! It was a super cool day!
