Cowboy/Cowgirl Day!

It was a busy day on the ranch! We made our horses, made vests, practiced finding words with the letter C, rode our horses around the school and stopped to eat some trail mix! Yikes! We hope that you have food and a place for your child's horse to stay!
 Getting our horses set!

  A group photo!

 Some cowpokes staring at me!

Heading out to ride our horses around the school. We were very popular!

End of Quarter Assembly

On Thursday, we had our end of quarter assembly. All the grades get together in the gym and Mrs. Olson first announces all the students who had perfect attendance during 1st quarter. Each grade level then gets recognized for how they are doing at AR. Since Kindergarten does not participate in AR, we celebrated that our kindergarten students know a total of 1,766 upper and lowercase letters. Our kindergarten end of school year goal is for ALL students to know ALL of their letters for a total of 1,924 letters!
We get a front row seat:)

Last...our parade around the school!

Some last photos from our day...

Fall Festival

The students were paired up with another student in our class and then put into a larger group with students from all grades. They then rotated around to different stations in the school. In our classroom, the kids had to play some different Minute to Win It games. Check them out below...

Minute to Win It Games

Before our big Halloween/Fall Festival, the staff participated in some Minute to Win It Games. They were hysterical and the gym was rocking with noise!
The staff all dressed up like Domino's. Here we are trying to match up our dots to another person's dots.
Mrs. Schan, our PE teacher, trying to knock down cups using air from a balloon she had to keep blowing up to use!
Mrs. OL and Miss Jan in a relay race!
Mr. Krzmarzick, Mrs. Heuer, Mrs. Stifter and Mrs. Remer trying to get candy corn out of the bottom of a pair of stockings using only 1 hand. Not easy!!!
