Q and U Wedding!

Today was the day! Miss Q and Mr. U tied the knot! It was a lovely ceremony with cake and juice afterwards. We then danced a bit and blew bubbles as they left for their honeymoon in Quebec! It was quite the fun event!

Tornado Drill

We don't have exciting pictures from this but I wanted to let you know that we had a whole school Tornado Drill practice this afternoon. We lined up without talking, walked in the hall and hung out in the staff lounge while we waited for the all clear! Just wanted to let you know what we did in case your child talked about it!

V is for Vegetables

Today we taste tested different vegetables for snack to celebrate the letter Vv! We tried red pepper, pea pods, cauliflower and carrots. Ranch dip was also available if anyone wanted it! The rule is that everyone had to at least give everything a mouse nibble. If you liked it, you could eat it. If you didn't like it, you just put it to the side of your plate. It was a very interesting snack time!

Reward Day!

We found out from Mrs. Olson that all students did so well on Star Testing that we got to earn a reward! So, today we headed to the activity center at the middle school and got to play in the big gym, walk on the indoor track and play on the playground there. It was a fun time!
