S is for...Spider Soup!

In honor of the letter Ss, we made and ate Spider Soup! In our spider soup, there was spider meat, spider legs and we also added dried spider webs and extra spider body parts! It tasted a little like chicken;)

As you can see, we also made spider hats! It was a splendid Ss day!

R is for....Rocks!

To celebrate Rr day, we ate Rocks! Mrs. Heuer tried to tell the kids that she dug them up from her yard and cleaned them up so we could eat them but for some reason they didn't believe her! 

They did taste a little like chocolate:)

Pickle Day!

On Wednesday, we celebrated Pickle Day in Kindergarten in honor of the letter Pp! We taste tested dill pickles, sweet gherkins pickles, bread and butter pickles and also tried dill flavored potato chips. It was the perfect way to practice the letter Pp!

Walk to School Day!

Though the day was chilly - at least we didn't have any rain for our first Walk to School day! It was a great way to start our day!

More Free Books!

Mrs. Zimmermann's class got their first free book this past month! Through donations from friends and family, she is able to purchase a new book for every child in her class every month!
