Great Apple Cruch!

Today we celebrated healthy eating and supporting farmers by participating in The Great Lakes Great Apple Crunch! Today at noon, everyone in our school got to crunch on a yummy apple from a local apple orchard! There was a lot of munching and crunching going on!

Fire Safety - Winsted Fire Station Visit!

This week, the kindergarten classes got to head to the Winsted Fire Station to learn about fire safety! We learned about Stop, Drop and Roll, smoke detectors, that fire fighters are our friends and that we should never hide from them, that we should have a meeting place outside our home to meet our family if our home ever catches on fire and we got to sit in a fire truck! It was an awesome, educational experience!
