Apex ReMix Event

Today was our Apex Remix event! The students wore their cool tie-dyed t-shirts and moved and danced the time away! Since we couldn't run, the students got to do some fun moves with the Apex crew!

Ms. Edgington - Student Teacher

Hello! My name is Calleen Edgington and I am currently a senior at Crown College. I am graduating this year With my elementary education degree. One of the requirements of that is to have some field experience in a kindergarten classroom. I will be in Mrs. Heuer's Kindergarten classroom November 21st- December 15th-- all day on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. 

I grew up in Otsego, Minnesota so I love to be active outside. I like to kayak on Lake Orono, play with my bunny CC, and skate! I am looking forward to the ponds freezing this winter. 

I am very excited to get to know your student and help them grow!

Happy Thanksgiving!

We had a great last day of school before Thanksgiving! We continued to read Thanksgiving stories, wore our Turkey headbands and ate a special Thanksgiving feast that went along with a story about the pilgrims and even had leftovers! Happy Thanksgiving to everyone!

Mrs. K visit!

Today, Mrs. K, our school counselor, came to our room to talk about getting mad and resetting. After she read the book I Was So Mad by Mercer Mayer, she had the student talk about ways they can reset. Some suggestions included...dancing, coloring, counting to 10, running, going to your bedroom to be alone. The students then drew pictures of things they could do to reset.
