100th Day of Kindergarten!

Today was our 100th day of kindergarten! What a celebration! It's a great feeling knowing that we've made it this far in the school year in person! Woot! Woot!  We spent the day reading books about the 100th day of school, seeing how long it takes us to do different activities in 100 seconds, making 100 headbands and eating a special 100 day snack.
Bring on the rest of the school year!

Mrs. K lesson on kindness!

On Thursday, Mrs. K, our school counselor, came for to talk about kindness for one of her classroom lessons. The students talked about how they can show kindness and how it feels when others show kindness to them. We watched a short video on kindness and then the students had to draw a picture of a time when they were kind. It was a great lesson!

Laker Day!

As part of our I Love to Read month, we had dress like a Laker day on Wednesday.
Check out these Lakers...

Indoor Recess...again...and again....and again...

Today was day 6 of indoor recess! We need some warmer weather to come to Minnesota! This is the project that most of the students have been working on during our extra free time inside (AKA indoor recess) - boys and girls pirate ships! They just needed LOTS of blank paper, glue sticks, markers and their imagination and this is what they created.
Pretty amazing!
