Kinderbuddies and lights out and polar bears...oh my!

This morning we started our day with Kinderbuddies! 

We 💗 our Kinderbuddies! 

We made stained glass pictures to hang on our windows. We then moved on to handwriting when all of a sudden...we lost power! No electricity! No computers! No Smartboards! So, we learned the old fashioned way...paper and pencil, reading books about polar bears and drawing...polar bears! The lights finally came back on while we were outside for recess. It was an adventure of a morning!

Wacky Wednesday!

On Wednesday, we celebrated the letter Ww with Wacky Wednesday. It all started with a shoe on the wall...according to the book we read! 

And, there was a shoe on our wall! So strange! 

It was a fun and wacky day!

End of Quarter Testing

We have spent the last couple of weeks testing the students for report card marking. They have been troopers with everything that I've thrown at them. One thing that we do is practice tracing numbers and letters and then going to the cafeteria to take the number writing and letter writing test there. It's the best place - no letters or numbers hanging on the wall for the students to look at:)

2D and 3D Shapes!

This week we started our new math unit on Shapes - 2D and 3D shapes! Today we played a game to practice our 3D shapes!
