Gingerbread Man!

We are reading and comparing different versions of the Gingerbread Man stories this week. For snack on Tuesday, we made a giant gingerbread man cookie for snack. But, as you've probably heard, he ran away from us! After chasing him through the whole school, we finally found him back in our classroom. 

He was pretty delicious!

 

Homecoming - Day 1! PJ Day!

To celebrate HLWW homecoming this week, the students could wear pajamas to school. 

It was a pretty comfortable day:)

Safety Days!

These past two days, the students in our school have been going to different stations to learn how to be safe at school. They've been to the lunchroom, hallways, bathroom, bus and playground. Today, it was our turn to review the rules of the playground and to learn how to play 4-Square!

Author Visit - Mary Casanova

On Tuesday, we all headed to the high school for a visit from MN author Mary Casanova! She talked about how she writes books and then they did a little puppet show for one of her books, One Dog Canoe!
