S is for Spiders and Spider Soup!

On Tuesday, we made spider soup for a snack to celebrate the letter Ss! Not only did we heat up spider soup, we added some dried spider webs and extra spider body parts ;). We found out it tastes just like chicken! We also made spider hats, had spider webs in our classroom and got spider rings! It was a super silly way to celebrate the letter Ss!

Word Birds!

Word Birds flew home with your child last Friday! Hopefully they made it to a safe spot in your house to stay! Each Friday, we'll send home an envelope with new words to add to the pocket of the Word Bird. Please practice these words at home! You'll get between 1-4 words a week. We will practice them at school throughout the week but extra practice at home will be beneficial. Thank you!
