Science - Pushes and Pulls

We have been working our way through our first science unit on Pushes and Pulls. We've done a lot of fun experiments throughout this unit...

In this experiment, we had to use a 'wrecking ball' to knock down a wall but not knock down any houses!

In this experiment, we had to knock down 'bowling pins' while using bumpers (clipboards). It was harder than it looked!

I love to read month!

It's been a fun and busy I love to read month here at Winsted Elementary! Our kinderbuddies met with us a second time this month to read to us and to help us fill out our brackets for a Battle of the Books competition. We also had character dress up day and today we got to pick free books from a book walk sponsored by our Winsted PTA. 

It's been a great month of reading activities!
