Today was the day!!! We started our journey around the world to learn about different holidays! Our flight today was to The Netherlands to learn about St. Nicholas. We got our suitcases ready with our maps and passports and headed to the airport for our flight! Our captain was quite an amazing pilot and we had some pretty incredible flight attendants, too! 
After our flight, we put some hay and a carrot in our shoe, put it by the door and waited to see if St. Nicholas and his white horse would show up. We learned that if we were good, he would leave us treats but if we were bad, he would leave us coal, potatoes and onions!
After reading a book about St. Nicholas...
And walking around in one stocking foot and one shoe...
We went to see if St. Nicholas had come! We did hear a horse neighing by the school, so we figured it was him!
And look what we found...Candy!!!
