We love our 4th grade kinderbuddies! For our December activity, our kinderbuddies helped us make Rudolph out of our handprints and by tracing our feet!

Christmas in America and our Winsted Elementary Sing Along
Due to an unexpected snow day, we moved our Christmas in America to the last day of school before winter break. On this day, we also had our whole school sing along. We finished up our passports on this day and decorated Christmas cookies for snack. We also flew to Mexico during our travels to learn about Las Posadas but I didn't take any photos:( That day was filled with making paper poinsettias, making pinatas and eating chips and salsa for snack!
Holidays Around the World - St. Lucia Day!
We also flew to Sweden to learn about St. Lucia Day - the festival of lights! We made Lucia Katts for snack (frozen bread dough twisted in into a figure 8 with chocolate chip for eyes and baked in our school kitchen) and the girls made crowns with candles on them while the boys made star boy hats. Photos are in no particular order.
