Happy Thanksgiving from all of us Turkeys!

Thanksgiving!

Here we are enjoying our Thanksgiving Feast! We made turkey cookies, ate different snacks to represent the pilgrims/Thanksgiving and talked about table manners! It was quite yummy!

Art with Mrs. Houston

We had our first official art lesson with Mrs. Houston today. She taught us about the 5 lines in art. We then created a 2D and 3D sculpture. They are hanging in the hallway by our room. We have some amazing artists in our class!
Mrs. Houston showing us the first part of the project...to use special markers to draw different lines on the paper that she handed out.

 Drawing lines...
She then explained how to use pipe cleaners to create different lines. Once they were created, they could be stuck into the Styrofoam shape on the paper. Buttons could also be added.

 Working on the sculptures!

Mrs. Adickes

On Monday, Mrs. Adickes, our school social worker came in for her first KinderSkilles lesson. We talked about our Greatness!

Bear Day and Butter!

In celebration of the letter Bb, we made bread dough bears and butter to eat as snack. We also played our game where I read the clues about each child's bear and the class had to use the clues to figure out which bear I was talking about. It was a BEAUTIFUL day!
