Here are some photos from our visit to the Dentist Office. We finally had nice weather to walk there!
Today for snack, we taste tested 4 different vegetables for V week. We tried red peppers, pea pods, carrots and cauliflower. Everyone had to try a little (we also offered ranch dressing for dipping) and could either not finish it or eat it all up. The most popular? Red Peppers, then Carrots, then Cauliflower and last with 1 vote was pea pods. They then got to have seconds, thirds and fourths...a pretty delicious snack!
We have been busy doing some spring arts and crafts in our classroom. We discussed that one sign of spring is when we see robins return. So, we made robins with worms sticking out of their beaks! Funny!
Every Friday during rest time, we have Flashlight Friday. The students are allowed to take books, their flashlight and read in the dark. We are running into some problems...a lot of flashlights have stopped working. When this happens, students are supposed to bring them home and bring in a new one. I have some on hand for extra but they are getting snapped up pretty quickly. Please ask your child if s/he has a flashlight that works. If not, we would appreciate it if you could send in another one. Thank you!
