Dental Health Month!

Today, Rhianna Iverson, a dental hygienist from Distinctive Dental Services - Dr. Thoennes in Winsted, came to share with us how to take care of our teeth! We learned about plague and the effects of eating too much sugar, how to brush our teeth and how often to brush our teeth. We also got a new toothbrush, toothpaste, dental floss and tooth pencil from her! It was an awesome time!

Guest Reader!

Today we had a guest reader share her love of reading with us! Michelle Heuer, HLWW school board member, came in this morning to read 3 different books to us. We had a grand time listening to the funny books she read and we loved that we had another Mrs. Heuer in the class today! 

Another 300 piece puzzle...done!

We did it! Our most challenging puzzle yet! The Mickey Mouse puzzle was brought in by one of our students for us to complete. It had very small pieces but after much perseverance, we did it! Our new puzzle will be coming out next week!

Happy Valentine's Day!

Finally...after days of waiting...we got to open up all of our Valentines! It was an awesome day! We started the morning off with donuts (a belated birthday snack), opened up our Valentines after library and ate a special snack of heart brownies in the afternoon! 

What a fun day!
