Dress as your favorite storybook character day!

Today was our day to dress like your favorite storybook character. Mrs. Heuer and Mrs. Stifter came as Fairy Godmothers from our unit we are doing on Fairy Tales. Check out the rest of our costumes!

Dental Health Month!

Mrs. Iverson, a dental hygienist from Distinctive Dental Services in Winsted, came to talk to us about dental health today! We learned about good food and bad food for your teeth, how often we should brush and floss them and what it is like to go to the dentist. She also gave us toothbrushes, floss and toothpaste from her dental office. Thank you!

I Love to Read!

We have had some more visitors into our school to read to us!

Mrs. Sideen and her reading dog, Penny, came to read to the kindergarten classes yesterday. It was a lot of fun! 

 Mrs. Olson stopped by today to read Tacky the Penguin to us! A very hilarious story!

Mystery Readers!

We have been blessed with two mystery readers who have come into our classroom to read to us! First, we had June's mom come in and read two books and then today we had Henry's mom come in. What a fun time we had and we loved the books! Thanks for coming in to read to us!!!

I Love to Read with Mr. Sellner

Today Mr. Sellner, our school superintendent, came to read to us and hang out with kindergarten. He read Pete the Cat I Love my White Shoes and The Pigeon Needs a Bath. He also stayed for snack and got to talk to some of our kindergarten students! It was fun having someone else come in to read to our class! Thank you, Mr. Sellner!

Happy Valentine's Day!

It was an exciting day today! We got to do some Valentine activities, read some Valentine stories and of course, got to open our Valentines! What a fun day!
