Thanksgiving Feast!

What a feast we had today! While we couldn't make turkey, stuffing and mashed potatoes for 45 students, we did enjoy some other meaningful snacks! We made and ate turkey cookies - Yummy! We also ate marshmallows (to represent potatoes), pretzel sticks (to represent log homes), goldfish (to represent fish) and popcorn (well, to represent popcorn). 
It was delicious!

P is for Pirate Pancake Day!

What a week we had...to end it in high fashion, we decided to celebrate Pirate Pancake Day for the letter Pp! We dressed like pirates, talked like pirates, read books about pirates, made a pirate puppet and ate pancakes...just like pirates, I'm sure!
