Luau Day!

Thursday was quite the lively day! The students got to rotate among the kindergarten teachers to experience different learning stations. They got to make a lion or lamb mask with Mrs. Kalal, made a Lei with Mrs. Stifter and they got to learn how to play leap frog, how to line dance and how to do the hula with Mrs. Heuer. It was a fun filled day!

Reading with Penny!

Today for I Love to Read month, Mrs. Sideen came to our classroom with her therapy dog Penny. Mrs. Sideen read us a couple of books, talked about what a therapy dog does and then we got to pet Penny (Penny will be at the Howard Lake Library this Saturday - go and check it out!). Here are some photos from her time in our classroom...

Happy 100th Day of School and Happy Valentine's Day!

Today was the big day...
And...what a day it was...
We started out finding 100 candy hearts hidden in our room from our elf, Silver Spurs, who came back for a brief visit. After finding them, we had to put them in order from 1 - 100 (they were numbered!).
 Searching for the candy...

A group photo next to our 100 Kisses!
We then arranged our 100 items for display...

Then, we took a walk in our 100 item museum!
Passing out Valentine's...
Look at all that good stuff!

 Opening up our Valentine's!
