Fire Safety with the Winsted Fire Department

We just returned from our trip to the Winsted Fire Department. We learned...tell an adult if you see matches or a lighter, to Stop, Drop and Roll if your clothes are on fire, to figure 2 ways out of your home if it's on fire, to have a meeting place outside, to call 911 if there is an emergency, to check your smoke detectors, to not be afraid of fire fighters, to not worry about your favorite toys or animals and just get out of the building if it's on fire - whew! That was a lot!
