Holidays Around the World...First Stop...Celebrating Hanukkah in Israel!

Today we boarded our plane with the most amazing and safe pilot and her flight attendant to head to Israel! Once we landed, we learned how people celebrate Hanukkah (lighting Menorahs, giving gifts, playing with dreidels, etc.). We also made Star of David glitter ornaments (you're welcome mom and dads:) We ended our day by eating latkes and applesauce for snack. It was a great way to start off our month of traveling! Shalom!
