It's Children's Dental Health Month in February! To help us learn about dental health, Rhianna Iverson, a dental hygienist from Distinctive Dental Services (Dr. Thoennes) came to talk to us on Friday. We learned about brushing and flossing our teeth, about healthy food for our teeth and gums and about why we should go to the dentist. We thank her for coming to spend some time in our kindergarten classrooms!
Her dental office also donated a bag of dental goodies to each child! Thank you!!!
The American Dental Association’s theme this year was “building a healthy smile.” I had so much fun talking with the kindergarten classes about dental healthcare! Thank-you for having me!
