On Tuesday, our kindergarten classes had a Thanksgiving feast! We ate at 'tables' (paper on the floor),with place mats that the students got to take home with them. We made Turkey cookies (yum!) and ate pretzels (to represent the log cabins the Pilgrims built), goldfish crackers (to represent the fish that they ate), marshmallows (to represent potatoes that they grew) and popcorn.
We wore our Turkey headbands while talking about and practicing table manners!
What a fun feast!
