Today we got to ride in a fire station vehicle for a lesson with firefighter Rose at the Winsted Fire Station. We learned about stop, drop and roll if we catch on fire. How to safely get out of our house if it's on fire. How to find a good meeting place near our home if there is a fire. The difference between good and bad fires. Not to hide from fire fighters. What number to call in case of an emergency (911). Along with many other fire safety tips! We also got to sit in one of their fire trucks. We had an awesome time!
