Word Bird Words have been painted and sent home! This is a special bird - it only eats words! The first word sent home to put in the Word Bird's pocket was the word THE. 1 - 3 words will be coming home on Fridays to be put in the pocket. Please practice these words at home. Some of the words coming home are Heart Words - these are words the students need to learn by heart as they don't follow a spelling pattern that we know.
