Another Letter Ss week tradition...making Spider Soup!
We headed to Mrs. OL's classroom as she has a secret family recipe for making a special spider soup!
The kids checking out the soup after the soup starter was put in along with spider parts and dried cobwebs!

Trying the soup. We discussed how I would never give the students something to eat that was not good for them and that everyone should try it (after I tried it and said I liked it:)
Almost everyone liked it and ate it all! We thought it tasted a little like chicken and we were surprised that the dried webs really softened up while cooking! We had some great discussions about the soup!
