It makes me a little sad to realize that we give tests in kindergarten. But, welcome to reality! Everyone should have brought home their Unit 1 math test last week. I grade all the tests but I do not keep the grades. By taking tests, I get to see a snapshot of what the students understood - or didn't understand. The skills that are being taught in math will be used in our formal tests for report cards and end of the year tests.
